Graphing and scientific calculators, math help and explanations for school and study.

📊

Cumulative GPA Calculator

Your cumulative average combines all credits earned so far, not just the latest period. Enter your previous average and the new results to see the updated total instantly, correctly weighted by credits.

📅

Exam Countdown Calculator

Enter the date of your exam or test to instantly see how many days and weeks you have left to prepare. A concrete number of days makes study planning far more realistic than a vague sense of "a few weeks left", and helps you start on time.

🎯

Final Grade Calculator

Part of your final grade is already fixed, but a test, assignment or exam is still coming. Enter your current average, the percentage already fixed, and your goal to see instantly what grade you still need on the remaining part.

🌍

Grade to US GPA Converter

When applying to a university abroad, a GPA is often requested, while Dutch institutions grade on a scale of 1 to 10. There is no legally fixed conversion between the two systems, but this calculator gives an indicative value based on a simple linear scale mapping.

🔢

Score to Grade Calculator

Dutch schools have used the linear correction model for decades to convert test scores into grades between 1 and 10. This model ensures fairness: 0% always scores a 1 (the lowest grade), and 100% always a 10 (the highest). For every percentage in between, the scale is perfectly linear. It is especially popular in secondary education (havo, vwo and vmbo) and many universities. Use this calculator to quickly convert your test score to the final grade, with all intermediate steps visible.

💻

Number Base Converter

Computers work internally in binary, and programmers often use hexadecimal notation for memory addresses and colour codes. Enter an ordinary decimal number to see it instantly converted to binary, octal and hexadecimal — handy for programming, networking or number-system homework.

Points Needed for a Grade

If you know how many points a test is worth and what grade you want, you can calculate in advance the minimum score you need, instead of working out your grade afterwards and being disappointed. This calculator uses the standard Dutch/Belgian 1-to-10 grading scale.

📖

Reading Time Calculator

Content creators and publishers want to know how long readers need for their articles. A reading time estimate helps readers plan their time better and increases engagement. This calculator computes it automatically based on word count.

🏛️

Roman Numeral Converter

Roman numerals still show up on clocks, in film credits, for numbering chapters and on buildings. Enter a number between 1 and 3999 and this calculator instantly converts it to the correct Roman form, built according to the classic subtractive rules.

⏱️

Study Hours Calculator

A credit (EC or ECTS) officially represents a fixed amount of study time, including lectures, self-study and exams. With that figure you can calculate how many hours per week a course realistically demands, so you avoid under- or overestimating your week.

⌨️

Typing Speed Calculator

Typing speed is expressed in words per minute (WPM), but errors count against you. Enter how many words you typed, in how much time, and with how many errors to see both your gross and your true (net) speed and accuracy.

📝

Weighted Grade Average Calculator

In a weighted average, not every test counts equally: an exam might weigh twice as much as a quiz. Enter up to four grades with their weights and see the true average instantly, including the calculation steps.

📄

Words to Pages Calculator

For an essay, paper or thesis it helps to know in advance how many pages your text will be, for example to meet a set page limit. This calculator converts your word count into a realistic page estimate based on the formatting you use. The formatting — double- or single-spaced — makes a big difference to the result.
