Pokémon Type Calculator

In Pokémon games, the type matchup between attack and defender determines how much damage a move deals. Choose an attack type and a (dual) defending type to see the damage multiplier.

公式

Total multiplier = multiplier vs type 1 × multiplier vs type 2

Each type has weaknesses (×2 damage), resistances (×0.5 damage) and sometimes immunities (×0 damage) against other types. For a Pokémon with two types, you multiply the two individual multipliers together. An attack that scores ×2 against both types therefore deals ×4 damage.

計算例

Water attack vs a Fire/Ground type

Water×2 vs Fire, Water×2 vs Ground → 4× damage.

よくある間違い

  • Forgetting that a dual type multiplies the factors rather than adding them.

活用シーン

  • Deciding before a battle which attack deals the most damage.
