How do I calculate a discount?
Choose "X% of Y", enter the discount percentage and the price. The result is the discount amount; subtract it from the price.
What is the difference between percent and percentage point?
Going from 10% to 12% is a rise of 2 percentage points, but 20% relatively. Percentage points measure the absolute difference.
